@Tony Wang - unfortunately I'm not the right person that can look at your prototype.

@non-profit - I am looking for that video and unable to find it. However, stay tuned. I know of some colleagues of mine who are working up some completely new content on Windows Live Calendar that might be of interest to you!

@Mohammad - we just posted about a awesome multitouch monitor from Dell over on the Windows Experience Blog you should look into! See the post here: http://windowsteamblog.com/windows/b/windowsexperience/archive/2010/08/13/dell-sx2210t-21-5-multi-touch-monitor.aspx

RSS is currently my goto for consuming content via an aggregator like Google Reader. Twitter is only workable if you only follow a few people, and it forces content publishers to engage you in 140c to get you to click their link.

Twitter is great for casual reading in the moment, but to really keep up on topics you are interested in, RSS still can't be beat. As that tweet gets further and further from that moment, you miss the new content because it is not always in focus when you have the time to read it. If the tweet is not within 20-50 tweets from the moment I am looking at recent tweets, it might as well not exist because it gets lost.

RSS display content on my time and schedule to read it. If there is content at the moment to read it's there.

I find it crazy to think people still go from website to website trying to consume new content in the world of RSS aggregators.

Hi Mr. LeBlanc,

Frankly, it's very difficult to find a Microsoft staff I can trust in China. Would you please send me an email? I would like to show you my prototype product to beat against Apple iPad. This comment is not a advertisement or any other about sales. I really want to find a way to get Microsoft official support if possible.

Thanks,
Tony

I do believe in the possibility of UFOs, and shows that investigate. But, UFO hunters is just terrible. They really drag and drag a simple incident. Unfortunately, this is not good for people wanting to know if UFOs are true. Good to know it got cancelled. The guy with the hat is shamelessly advertising UFO magazine. I bet History channel makes money letting him wear that red hat.

Good on yer Brandon! You are being generous in my opinion to someone who obviously doesn't deserve it. I have also found that some users who prefer using Apple products can be very (how shall we put it) 'narrow minded' in their thinking. Posterous is NOT a serious blogging platform in my opinion, because there simply aren't enough themes on there. Tumblr is far better of the two. They both fill a need for those who can't be bothered to sit down and compose a full blown blog post, who would rather be able to post 'on the move' or just a photo etc.
But you can now do that to Wordpress if you wish. You can even 'phone' your blog post or post via email as well.
Yes there are those users who still haven't found or experienced the joys of blogging, and become 'hooked'. Yet.

Hi, Brandon.

I am the admin assistant for a non-profit and I have been trying to find some basic tips for using Windows Live calendar. I found your video on sharing the calendar - but it has been removed. Any chance you could send me a link to where I can find the steps to share the calendar with mobile devices?

Many thanks,
judy b.

Hello,

I am excited a out multitouch technology from the first time microsoft demoed Surface. Win7 include native multitouch support which is nice but there are not a lot of monitors that support it. You have written about such devices in the windows team blog -I could not find how to send you email there- . I intend to buy a new pc with multitouch but I live in the middle east but my brother sudy in USA. I have seen good choices from HP with HD but I will see if I can buy the monitor only and buy the rest from here. I read a little about the different touch technology, and I was wondering about the optical technology. How many touch points? And can I use a stylus for writing and drawing.
I would to hear you advice, if it is not a bother.
